Greet's Salad

This is a delicious salad which I use very frequently. It is best enjoyed in late July and August. It is a very delicious salad and it works very well with Barbeque (Churrasco) and other things made on the grill.

A RECIPE FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 PEOPLE

What you need:
  • 1 Tablespoon Balsamico Vinegar - I personally vote for white, but black can also be used,
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil - Extra Virgin is my favorite,
  • 4 Teaspoon Sugar,
  • Some freshed cut chives and lovage or if you don't have those you can use freshed cut parsley,
  • Half an egg, boiled,
  • 1 tomato,
  • 1 cucumber,
  • Mayonnaise,
  • Salad.
How to make it:
  • First, mix the vinegar, oil, sugar and spices (chives, lovage or parsley) together.
  • Remove the offal from the tomato. Cut the tomato and offal in pieces and put it in the mix.
  • Remove the peel of the cucumber and cut the cucumber it in quarters or how big you want it, and put it in the mixtures
  • Cut half of the boiled egg in little pieces, and mix it with the other things.
  • Put the mixture in the fridge and when you need it, just add the wanted amount of mayonnaise to the mixture. Mix it, and add salad to the mixture.
  • Que bom! That is all you need for the salad - enjoy!
